Because movie theaters don’t have pause buttons.
Do you find yourself watching a movie in the theater and having to go to the bathroom often? Well there’s a new app called RunPee. This app was featured on The Steve Harvey Show. You just choose the movie you’re watching, start the timer and your phone will vibrate when there is a slow/unimportant scene where you can excuse yourself.
Once you return from the restroom, you can read a short synopsis of the scene you missed. Users can also comment on which times are the best to go use the restroom. You can also rate the movie you watched, check in at the movie theater and find out of there are any bonus scenes after the end credits.
The iPhone and Android versions are $0.99 while the Windows version is free. The app is not available on Blackberry but you can visit m.RunPee.com on your phone’s browser to use some of the features. I tried the browser version and it did not have the timer but it did have pee times and summaries on what you’ll miss during that time.
I think this app will be very useful to my sister and some of my friends who either drink too much water or have very small bladders. 🙂 Visit RunPee’s website to find out more.
